[Cloud City (Night)]

Very nice

I think this goes more to the video game/ drum and bass genre.
Very ambient, especially at the beginning.
Lots of 8-bit, around 3:00 ish.
Keep it up man!

The soundscapes keep gettin better and better.
I can just listen all day long, it forms such a clear picture in my head. (not that miles and miles of snow would be much of a picture...)

Haha. Love'n the listening by you. Haha, miles of snow is not too hard to picture. Its the big clumps of snow falling from the sky - the deep wind kicking them up and not letting them hit the ground, the grey dark 6:00am morning sky that takes some skills to see and feel. Far off city lamps filtering through the snow haze letting you know there's civilization out there.

Ohhh, i'll be keeping them glitches coming for a long time!

Drums, drums, and DRUMS!

Seriously. Pure ownage, but this time it's all bout the drums, man.
Love the trumpet part, but it's more of a tune integrated with the rhythm than a melody on its own, kinda used as a part of the percussion, if you know what I mean. (the poor trumpet :o)
It's been a while since you updated a song, and those two loops were great, but not enough >,<

Thanks man. Yeaaah, gotta love them drums, aye! I've been thinking about redoing the drums more when the simple trumpet melody comes in. Dunno though. I feel like its all pretty solid. I feel you though. The simple notes in the trumpet with the delay and tremolo that sort of follows along with the drums : D - too much melody would get in the way - so i figured something simple would be effective with the right effects on it. Yeah, i havent had internet for a couple of weeks. Been having some troubles with it as of late - but its all fixed up now - so i got a chance to submit the two tunes i was working on in the mean time.

I use FL Studio for all my stuff. You thinking about trying it out??

Falling.
As sky becomes ground,
and ground becomes darkness.
There is a light.
A light at the end of a tunnel,
a faint candle in a dark room.
You reach toward it,

As you reach it, it is suddenly extinguished.

You feel a chill,
not a feeling of cold,
but a sense of evil.
You see a shadow.

No... It can't be!
The black wizard.

"I thought we left him in that forest..."
what forest?
Nothing matters now.

forever foes.
Light against dark.
You stare at him.
He stares back.
A cold, evil stare.
The chills again.
As reason fades,
and awareness to your surroundings becomes ever more distant,
One thing comes to mind.
Vengeance.
You leap for him,
pass through him.
What the hell?
This is gona be a lot harder, you think.
As the fire springs from your fingers, and he leaps nimbly out of the way,
you are amazed, if not shocked, at his abilities.
There is but one option.
But, no, that will destroy you and the fabric of reality.
What reality?
What you?
You does not exist anymore.
Just the spell.
As you are torn apart,
the last thing you see is him dissipating into a fine mist.
Screaming in terror, agony, and anger.
You smile, out of happiness and satisfaction,
the last thing you remember.
All becomes black, again.
But this time you see another light.
You reach toward it, but where is your arm?
Where is your body?
You are now an empty soul,
wandering about.
But this place is better...
It's different.
Let's go.

Thanks Man, glad you like - yeah, i dont think people can handle the face melting breaks, haha. It's a pretty oddly constructed track - i will admitt - i'm actually still tinkering with it - taking things out, adding things, etc, etc. I cant find a balance i like, yet. : (

Yeah, I've been in a spurt of inspiration lately. Or have just been straighting up loose ends. As i said, this is an old track (like a year ago - actually about 2 now) which was all finished up, something i sort of kept to myself. Maybe i had no faith in it, or maybe it was just a bit personal - emotional melodies. Or, a bit of both, heh. I'm really glad you like it - enough to toss in on the 'ol ipod even. Listening on your own time : D

The beginning, though, it kinda overwhelms everything and scares you a little, could be a little softer.

Heh, i just do my thing. Sometimes with little thought. Subconscious projection? Or maybe you just get so in-tune with something that it feels like your in your subconscious?

Yeah, the beginning is a little dreary, a bit unsure. Much like the ideals behind knowledge. Sometimes things aren't so clear cut - the uncertain. How people once thought the world was flat - that you could just fall off the edge if you went out too far. How sometimes knowledge can restrict you - how sometimes it can enlighten you; make you less afraid. Or sometimes vice-versa - make you afraid.
There's so much to take in.

Why doesn't anyone like it?

It's random, but it fits into the theme of the song.
I like the part at 1:23, the sense of flight and all just fits perfectly. (in my opinion...)

And you're right, this would be awesome if it were animated, like a short series :D
